Utah and Nevada Trip March 2006

Trip to Utah and Nevada in March 2006
Places visited
Wendover, Utah Wendover Airfield
Where the Mighty B-29 Boeing Bombers were
stationed during World War II
Two of the B-29 Bombers delivered two nuclear
Atom Bombs to Japan which helped end the War
those planes and bombs were located in Wendover
My friend and I also visited an Automobile Museum
in Salt Lake City, Utah
and we
visited the Utah Air Museum at Roy, Utah
north of Salt Lake City, Utah.
The photos taken of the B-29's were of photos posted inside the Wendover Airfield Museum, so they are only copy photographs to show the history
I suspect the original photos were taken by Military Photographers for Historical Value
We also visited the Bonniville Salt Flats which are famed for World Land Speed records
The salt was covered by winter water and provided beautiful reflections of the desert and mountains behind them and the photo opportunity was ripe
Hope everyone enjoys this Web Page!
